Jeremy Pesner is a Master's Candidate at Georgetown University's Communication, Culture & Technology program, with a Bachelor's in Computer Science from Dickinson College. He studies a wide variety of subjects, including technology policy, remix culture, Human-Computer Interaction, technology and society and video game theory. He is an avid gamer and a regular in the video game fan convention and fan remix scene.
He researched educational gaming at the University of South Carolina, and recently integrated that research with the educational game Immune Attack, developed by the Federation of American Scientists. He has also created an interactive presentation to highlight the motivating mechanics of video games, which he has given to various groups including the Internet Society, NetSquared, and the Music, Arts and Gaming Festival to critical acclaim.
