Jennilie Brewster grew up on a farm in Maryland. She lives in Brooklyn. Brewster graduated with an MFA (2007) from the Milton Avery Graduate School for the Arts at Bard College and with a BFA (2002) from the School of Visual Arts. For the past several years, she has been traveling around the country making paintings and installations that explore the relationships between our external and internal landscapes. Currently, she is writing a book that covers the same terrain.
